Social Services for the Deaf

Welfare Association for the Deaf is organizing the following programme.

1-Special Tailoring Training Center
Established date 01-03-1997, Behind Bank AlFalah, Hasilpur. The crew is consist of total 11 persons including one Tailor Master and remaining 10 are trainees presently. Complete training of cutting and stitching is being provided to the trainees. There are total 08 machines, and within period of 1 year a person is fully trained so that he can earn his living.

2-Humsafar Marriage Center
The parents of special persons contact Humsafar Marriage Center.Through this center many special persons  have got married.

3-Free Ambulance & medical services.
The facility of free Ambulance & medical services is available in Hasilpur to special persons all the time.

4-Establishment of Magazine "Sada-e-Khasosi".
The Magazine "Sada-e-Khasosi" been published regularly from Lahore office.

5. Center of Religious education
The primary religious education is being provided to all the students of school and tailoring training center. This make them possible how they can offer the prayer in sign language.

6. Publishing of Salat in sign language
Welfare Association has printed the way of offering the Salat in sign language and has sent to the other deaf organizations of the country. 50,000 copies has been distributed till now.

7. Record and Survey of the Deaf people
Welfare Association for the Deaf Hasilpur, has surveyed the whole deafs of Tehsil Hasilpur and surrounding areas and their record has been secured. Total record of 140 deaf has been collected.

8. Issue of Disable Certificate
Association has got 20 Certificates for the disables from (District Easement Board for Disables). All the disable persons are make known of the importance of these certificates.

9. Functions
Welfare Association conducts the religious, national and international informative functions accordingly. Association invites the deaf persons who give information in sign language.

10. Give Loan without profit
Welfare Association also provides the loan without profit to much poor deaf for stablizing and treatment according to Association's financial position. 80,000 rupees has been given as loan to disables without profit.
